Dance Academy

Dance Academy will host (2) Intensive Week training periods. One is required and is a NEW TEAM member ONLY intensive week, June 21-25, 9 AM – 12 PM. The other intensive is optional and open to all, it will be held July 26-30, 9 AM – 12 PM. Both weeks promise to be full of hard work and lots of fun!  aimed at preparing participants for auditions and giving them all necessary and important core training and technique they need to succeed.

Dance Academy is for students ages 5-17 who want to dance more than one hour per week, experience more performance opportunities, and make more rapid progress. Each team will have their own individual class time to learn choreography that they will get to perform 2-4 times per year.

These teams provide quality training to help prepare dancers for their dance future. All Dance Academy teams will compete with the exception of Starlets (our youngest team). While these competitions are valuable, our focus is on dance education and on fully experiencing the art of dance in a deeper way than could happen if we were always in a competition mindset.

All Academy students and their parents will be expected to have good attendance, good attitudes, and be able to focus and work hard as we become better dancers and better people!
