Vocal Performance Company (VPC)

Our goal is to teach superior performance techniques while maintaining a healthy life balance; all in a positive, uplifting environment. Then encouraging our students to use their gifts for good; to help others and inspire them with their new talents.

VP Minis, Prep & Company are audition-based performance teams for kids ages 6-19. These teams are designed to give students elite age-appropriate training in music, dance, and theater. This training all occurs in a positive, uplifting, and fun atmosphere.

These groups are given opportunities to perform around the valley, tour internationally, and participate in workshops with professionals in the performing arts industry.

Music Theatre Minis (MTM)

Music Theatre Minis is all about getting comfortable singing, dancing and acting! These adorable young performers will be ready for the stage in no time!

Music Theatre Jr. (MTJ)

Music Theatre Jr. is our class for your “dramatic” one always seeking the spotlight. MT Jr. gives students the experience of putting together and performing a musical on stage. Each semester students learn acting skills and performing techniques that help channel their energy into a productive, fun, learning experience.

Combo – Ballet/Tap/Tumbling (3-5)

Designed for students ages 3-5 the tap/ballet/tumbling combo classes offers an introduction to tap and ballet dancing. The class is an hour long and consists of 25 minutes of tap and 25 minutes of ballet instruction and 10 minutes of basic gymnastics skills.

Students will learn the basics of both ballet and tap, as well as develop their gross motor skills, coordination, and self confidence. They will learn a dance that will be performed at a showcase at the end of each semester (participation is optional).

Combo – Tap/Jazz or Tap/Ballet (6-8)

Designed for our students ages 6-8, these combos introduce Tap, Jazz, and Ballet to new students and establish skills for intermediate ones. The class is one hour long.

Students will learn the fundamentals of each genre and develop their gross motor skills, coordination, and musicality. They will learn a dance that will be performed at the showcase at the end of each semester (recital participation is optional)

Hip Hop (9-12)

Hip hop is a very energetic form of dancing. It is unique and allows dancers to perform with freedom of movement, adding in their own personalities. Learn fun moves and routines in our hip hop class to perform at recitals and other scheduled performances.*

Jazz (6-12)

Jazz dancing is a form of dance that shows a dancer’s individual style and originality. Dancers will learn technique, leaps, and turns to incorporate into their dance routines. Our jazz classes provide training from Beginner to Advanced levels in a fun and energetic environment.

All productions are open classes to all who want to participate. There will be a simple audition for parts during the first few weeks of rehearsal!

Music Theatre Jr. (MTJ)

INSPIRE Utah is excited to announce our Spring production of “The Little Mermaid Jr.” and invites you to join us under the sea for this delightful adventure!

MT Jr. is $60/month for class every Monday from 4-6 PM. Come and be part of the exciting and thrilling process of putting on a production! Learn about important theatre fundamentals and sharpen your acting skills in a positive and uplifting environment.

Meet Your Utah Director – Meredith Sabey

Meredith Richey Sabey grew up on the stage in Southern California, where she studied dance, acting, and voice for 12 years. Her vocal style has been described as beautiful, light-contemporary, and her performance repertoire spans many genres ranging from country and pop, to musical theater and gospel. She has acted in various community theater performances such as Fiddler on the Roof, Music Man, and Annie. She was a featured soloist with the Wasatch Chorale, 2018 season. Her interests have recently turned to composition and her first original studio album is in production. “My true passion is my family. My husband and my 5 kids are my heart and soul. They add so much music into my life.”
