Music & Vocal Performance Instructor
Ted Gibson is an Arizona native with 20 years of experience in vocal coaching and choral conducting. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from ASU and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting degree from NAU. He teaches high school and junior high choirs in the Gilbert Public School District at Gilbert Classical Academy. Ted is in constant demand as a clinician, vocal coach, and guest conductor particularly with youth choirs. He has directed adult and youth vocal ensembles throughout the western US and under his direction choirs have consistently received superior ratings at local, regional, and national competitions. Directing and singing in choirs has been a passionate part of Ted’s life since he was in grade school. He has become an advocate for music education, enjoys teaching music of all genres and styles, and feels that every child’s life can be enriched by the experience of making music.
