Ballet Instructor

Nadja Langenhorst has trained dancers in classical ballet technique for 30 years, emphasizing proper kinesiological alignment and fundamental body mechanics.  She teaches the physiological principles of motion through the lens of classical ballet technique. She also motivates dancers through the language of technique to discover their own physical capabilities, awareness and boundaries within the discipline.
Nadja has been an adjunct faculty at Scottsdale Community College since 2001. Nadja has taught at many valley ballet schools and her students have gone on to many prominent ballet companies.  Her professional career was in the United States with smaller dance groups; she also danced in Africa and throughout Europe.
